Winemaking
Vineyard: Clover Farm, Mt Barker. 360 to 390 metres above sea level with gentle slopes Winemaking: Fermented in 5T open top fermenters. Hand plunged and basket pressed. 30% new French oak for 12 months using 500L puncheons. Vegan friendly and minimal So2 added.
Bouquet
Bouquet: Black plum strawberry, raspberry and cherry with hints of cloves, vanilla, toast and black pepper.
Palate
Palate: A juicy palate of ripe cherry, plum and strawberries with notes of raspberry, spice and cloves. A lovely oak spice with vanilla pod and dark chocolate provide depth and fullness that will provide some reward with time in the cellar.
